Space Eyes Reportedly Hacked, U.S. Government Information Leaked

According to threat actor IntelBroker, private company Space Eyes LLC has been exploited and links to their databases were exfiltrated and posted to Breach Forums, the Dark Web marketplace for hacked information. The prolific threat actor claimed that confidential U.S. government documents are included in the exfiltrated databases. This comes only two weeks safter IntelBroker claimed to have pulled off a similar operation against Acuity Inc., another U.S. government contractor.

Space Eyes has made no public comment, nor have any of the U.S. government partners that the company boasts on its website. These include the U.S. Department of Justice, the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the United States Army, DSTA, the United States Navy, the United States Space Force, the U.S. National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, and the United States Air Force. Space Eyes also partners with several commercial companies such as Amazon Web Services, Booz Allen Hamilton, and others.

Established din 2001, Space Eyes is marketed as a data congregation and exploitation company which analyzes space-based collections of Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) data through Automatic Identification System (AIS) and other publicly available tools.
