At least one person is dead and several others were left wounded after a shootout took place at a Russian police checkpoint along the border between Krasnodar Krai and the Republic of Abkhazia, according to TASS.
What exactly happened remains unknown and it is unclear if this is connected to the attacks in Dagestan.
