As this publication reported earlier today, a single man was killed by an airstrike while riding his motorcycle near Sohmor, Lebanon. Hezbollah has now confirmed that Ali Ahmad Alaa al-Din “Elias” from Sohmor was the individual killed.
The announcement reads below:
“In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful {Among the believers are men who have been true to what they covenanted with God, and among them are those who have fulfilled their promise, and among them are those who wait, and they have not changed A change} God Almighty has spoken the truth. With greater pride and honor, the Islamic Resistance honors the martyr, the Mujahid, Ali Ahmed Alaa Al-Din “Elias”, born in 1985 from the town of Sohmor in the Western Bekaa, who rose as a martyr on the road to Jerusalem.”
The IDF has still made no public comment on the killing.
