First reported by pro-Kremlin sources on June 30th, 2024, Kyiv Post has confirmed that UK national Peter Fouche has been killed in combat in Ukraine.

Known as Peter ‘Hasta La Vista’ Fouché, the volunteer combat medic was born in South Africa, but moved to London and became a British citizen in 2006. While in South Africa, he served as a sniper on the South African police’s Flying Squad. He has enjoyed international attention for his medical expertise, viral videos on social media, and his early volunteerism to fight in the Ukrainian Foreign Legion.
As of this publication, the UK Foreign Office has made no statement on his death.
