Sweden Says “Traces of Explosives” Recovered From Nord Stream Blast Sites

Sweden’s Prosecution Authority has concluded that the Nord Stream pipelines were destroyed during an act of “gross sabotage” after “traces of explosives” were found at the blast site. So far authorities have not confirmed the origin of the explosions as the investigation continues.

After the pipeline leaks were discovered in September, European and American officials were quick to blame Russia for carrying out the sabotage. Russia denies responsibility and has turned the blame on the United States and NATO.
