U.S. Department of Energy Secretary is set to announce a new breakthrough in nuclear fusion energy production research, where the first time in decades will the result have been a net-gain instead of a net-loss of energy. The endeavor is the closest in fusion research to developing a clean energy alternative that can produce megajoules of power, enough to power towns or cities.
