Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has been approved for Security Bail today. The approval came as a Pakistani news source, ARY News, was claiming Khan was set to be arrested today. The potential arrest would have been in connection to a case against him accusing him and 10 other party members of receiving foreign funding, in violation of Pakistan’s Foreign Exchange Act. The news of his potential arrest was met with protestors outside his house. Police were deployed to make sure no incidents occurred.
