Update (1129 02 JUN 22): Tulsa Police have confirmed that Dr. Phillips is among the casualties of yesterdays shooting. The shooter Michael Louis sent the doctor a letter telling him he was going to kill him, blaming him for his ongoing pain after back surgery.
Update (2024 EST): Tulsa Police have reportedly told reporters that officers were on scene within three minutes and heard the gunshots. The suspect was reportedly armed with a rifle and a handgun.
Update (2010 EST): FBI Oklahoma City Branch confirms 4 dead including the shooter. One other person is reportedly critically wounded.

Update (1938 EST): City Councilman Fowler has confirmed the shooter was targeting a specific doctor, lending legitimacy to earlier evidence that Dr. Phillips was targeted.
Update (1922 EST): According to police dispatchers, the shooter was telling people to get out of the hospital as he was looking for a “Dr. Phillips.” There is a Dr. Preston J. Phillips employed as as Orthopedic Surgeon at the medical complex, but this targeted killing has not been confirmed. According to the hospital website: “Dr. Preston Phillips, MD is a orthopedic surgery specialist in Tulsa, OK. Dr. Phillips completed a residency at Yale New Haven Hospital. He currently practices at Warren Clinic Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine and is affiliated with Saint Francis Hospital. He accepts multiple insurance plans. Dr. Phillips is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery.”
Update (1914 EST): City Councilman Jayme Fowler has told press that four have been killed including the shooter, by self inflicted gunshot wound. And that this was the most up to date information he had.
Update (1912 EST): ATF Dallas Office has announced that their personnel are on scene providing assistance to the Tulsa Police Department.

Update (1855 EST): Tulsa police have reportedly confirmed the shooting is occurring in the Natalie Building, police are clearing room by room. The Natalie Building is an acute care center on the medical campus. An acute care hospital provides short-term inpatient care for patients with injuries or short-term illnesses who are ideally expected to fully recover and return to normal levels of activity upon release.
Update (1847 EST): Tulsa Police Chief has confirmed the department is responding to an active shooter at the hospital. The reunification point for families is the Memorial High School on 5840 Block of South Hudson Avenue in Tulsa.

Update (1835 EST): Tulsa police reportedly say “shooter down”, as reports are coming in of multiple injured.
An active shooter has been reported at the offices of St. Francis in Tulsa, OK. A large police presence has been spotted and a cordon has been established around the hospital complex.

The St. Francis Health System is “a Catholic, not-for-profit health system wholly governed and operated in Tulsa, Oklahoma whose mission is to extend the presence and healing ministry of Christ to all who seek its services.” According to their website.
The hospital has a 1,112-bed tertiary center, which includes the region’s only children’s hospital and level IV neonatal intensive care unit, a 168-bed heart hospital and Tulsa’s leading trauma and emergency center. Additionally, Saint Francis employs more than 450 providers through Warren Clinic, which serves the region with more than 95 locations throughout eastern Oklahoma.
In total, the organization has more than 10,000 employees, 1,000 physicians and 700 volunteers, making it the largest private employer in Tulsa County. Also according to their site.
