Update (1253 EST): Police confirm one person shot, possibly killed after shooting at the mall. Suspect is still at large, this does not appear to be a mass shooting. The shooting happened at the food court and appears to involve at least two suspects.
At least one person has been medically evacuated and there are unconfirmed reports of three shot at the Eastridge Shopping Mall in Gastonia, North Carolina. Tactical teams from local police department are reportedly on scene.
The three story shopping complex has two anchor tenants such as Belk and Dillards. It has parking capacity for about 4,000 shoppers and more than 900,000sqft. of retail space. It has 70 total stores.
