Today at approximately 12:00 p.m. CDT, a Navy T-45C Goshawk jet trainer aircraft assigned to Training Air Wing 2 at Naval Air Station Kingsville, Texas, crashed on approach to NAS Kingsville.

“Training Aircraft Crash at NAS Kingsville

NAS KINGSVILLE – A T-45 Goshawk crashed on approach to the Naval Air Station Kingsville about noon today.
The aircraft went down in an empty field just north of the airfield.
The pilot ejected and there are no reports of injuries at this time.
Emergency personnel are on site.
Additional information will be released as it becomes available.”
