Dutch Soldier Dies, Indianapolis, IN

As this publication reported on August 27th, three Dutch Commandoes, training in Indiana, were shot out side of their hotel while on leave. The Netherlands Ministry of Defense announced moments ago that one of the soldiers who was in critical condition has succumbed to his wounds. The message reads below:

“The commando, who was in critical condition in a hospital in the American city of Indianapolis , died last night from his injuries. This happened in the presence of family and colleagues.

The man was shot in the night from Friday to Saturday (local time). Two of his colleagues were also injured in the shooting. Their condition is unchanged. They are knowledgeable and approachable.

The three soldiers are part of the Commando Troops Corps. The commandos are on drill in the state of Indiana. The shooting took place in front of the hotel where they are staying. The incident happened during the military’s free time.’
