Edward Snowden Granted Russian Citizenship

Edward Snowden Granted Russian Citizenship

Date:

Former NSA contractor and whistleblower has been granted Russian citizenship by President Putin. In 2020 Snowden was granted permanent asylum and had applied for Russian citizenship. That request has apparently been granted after Snowdens appeals, which he says was for the sake of his son. In an interview in 2020, he said that he is still an American and raises his family with American ideals.

This is developing.
