At least seventeen illegal immigrants have been discovered in a train car East of Knippa, Texas. At least two have been confirmed dead and ten are in critical condition. Uvalde mayor McLaughlin is on scene. It is expected to reach 90 degrees in Knippa tomorrow.
Five Life Flight helicopters have evacuated the victims. This is developing.

This harkens back to a deadly incident on March 6th, 2023 in which more than 300 migrants including 100 children were found in an abandoned trailer in the eastern Mexican state of Veracruz. A similar incident occurred near San Antonio in 2022 in which 53 migrants were found dead.
