A fourteen year old student has shot and killed eight children and one security guard at the Vladislav Ribnikar Elementary School in Belgrade Serbia. Six other children and one student are being treated with life threatening injuries.

At approximately 0300 EST, the male suspect walked into the school and began firing on security and teachers first, one parent who witnessed the shooting commented. After shooting the adults, he quickly turned his attention to the students. The suspect fled the scene after discharging his fathers rifle and was quickly arrested by police. The entire incident lasted about five minutes.
