At Least Twelve Stabbed, Including Child, Hainan, China

At approximately 2050 EST, reports began to emerge of a mass stabbing incident in Lingao, Hainan, China in which at least twelve people were injured. The youngest reported victim was a seven year old boy. The below video purports to show the detainment of the perpetrator by local police.

Local authorities also released this report detailing the official narrative on events. At this time there is no official word on motive and all twelve victims are said to not have life-threatening injuries.

Unsurprisingly, Chinese authorities immediately urged citizens not to distribute video of the incident.
