The terrorist has been identified as Kamel Mahmoud aka Kamal Abu Bakr from Jenin, a member of the Jenin Brigades.
The Tel Aviv shooting attack assasiliant has been wanted for Israeli occupation forces for several months and is an official member of the Jenin Battalion.

The Al-Quds Brigade has published this statement concerning the shooting:
“We congratulate the qualitative commando shooting in Tel Aviv.
This operation came as an affirmation of the interdependence of the squares and the continuation of the resistance in the face of aggression and a natural response to the daily killings carried out by the occupation against our people in the West Bank.
The plans targeting Al-Aqsa Mosque will be met with more resistance operations.”
At approximately 1155 EST, reports began to emerge of a shooting in the Nachalat Binyamin area of Tel Aviv , Israel. By 1213 EST, an Israeli police spokesperson reported that the shooter is a suspected terrorist and attempted to carry out a shooting against shoppers before being neutralized by police.
