GRAPHIC: Israeli Diplomat Stabbed, Beijing, China

At approximately 0355 EST, initial reports showed a knife attack on an Israeli man outside the embassy compound in Beijing, China. By 0430 EST, the Israeli Foreign Ministry confirmed the man was in stable condition and the background concerning the event was unclear. The below video shows the moments of the stabbing in the Chaoyang District.

The U.S. Ambassador to China made this statement:

As of this publication, the Chinese Foreign Ministry has not commented on the stabbing, but Chinese police have restricted journalist access to the scene, secured local video equipment near the scene and are throttling key word search and the video posted above.
