Update (2106 EST): Cloquet Police have found a body that they believe belongs to the deceased. The shelter-in-place order has been lifted.

At approximately 2010 EST, initial reports indicated that an active shooter situation was underway at a Super 8 Motel at 121 Big Lake Road in Cloquet, Minnesota.
BREAKING: Active shooter situation at the Super 8 in Cloquet. Multiple gunshot victims and a shooter on the loose. Police are asking people to shelter in place in the area of Big Lake Rd and Highway 33.

By 2020 EST, local residents were issued an emergency message from the mass emergency communication system urging them to take shelter from an active shooter in the Big Lake Road area and Highway 33.
