Multiple People Shot in Active Shooter Incident, Super 8 Motel, Cloquet, MN

Update (0022 EST): One of the victims has been identified as a hotel worker. Another victim has been identified as a man in his car in the hotel parking lot.

Update (2028 EST): Four, including the shooter have now been confirmed dead.

Update (2205 EST): Three have been confirmed dead, including the shooter.

Update (2106 EST): Cloquet Police have found a body that they believe belongs to the deceased. The shelter-in-place order has been lifted.

At approximately 2010 EST, initial reports indicated that an active shooter situation was underway at a Super 8 Motel at 121 Big Lake Road in Cloquet, Minnesota.

By 2020 EST, local residents were issued an emergency message from the mass emergency communication system urging them to take shelter from an active shooter in the Big Lake Road area and Highway 33.

As of this publication, two have been reported injured. This is developing.
