The Turkish government has severely throttled social media and other internet usage after this mornings explosion which so far has left four dead and thirty four wounded. Security forces quickly implemented an information blackout following what appears to be a package bomb left by a female attacker.
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office has launched an investigation into “negative social media” comments on the explosion.
