Polish President Says “No Definite Evidence” of Who Fired Missile, “Very Likely” That Poland Will Invoke Article 4

Polish President Duda says no definite evidence of who fired missile that fell in Poland. Says “we are acting very calmly”, “this was a one off incident” and that there are no indications of a repeat of today’s incident. He also stated it is “very likely” Poland will invoke NATO Article 4 on Wednesday at a newly announced NATO emergency meeting which allows any member nation to raise concerns at a discussion, usually related to security issues.

Polish Foreign Ministry says a Russian-produced rocket hit the Polish village of Przewodow at 15:40 local time. Polish PM Morawiecki says they are working to establish causes of explosion, demands increase of monitoring of air space, calls on all Poles to remain calm.
