Afghan Freedom Group Claims Responsibility For Assassination of Two Taliban Commanders

The Afghanistan Freedom Front (AFF), an anti-Taliban resistance movement created after the fall of Afghanistan, has claimed responsibility for the assassination of two apparent Taliban Commanders, identified as Hafez and Khalil, in a Kandahar neighborhood on Tuesday. The AFF says that the two were responsible for the torture and murder of former Afghan security force personnel.

The group also issued a warning, tweeting that “AFF hereby warns the militias of the mercenary Taliban in the southwest zone of the country that they will be targeted by the guerrillas of this front if they continue to harass, arrest and torture the former security forces and civilians.”
