An hour ago, an apparent car bomb attack occurred in the Thai city of Narathiwat. The car exploded in a parking lot outside of a police building. Local media is reporting that a police officer has been killed.
Fires caused by the blast are currently being battled by firefighters. Also, unconfirmed reports are coming out that another bomb has been found in the area.
In response, Narathiwat has been put on lockdown by Thai authorities.
