As of now, the Boulder Police Department claims that there are no confirmed dead as a result of the still ongoing active shooter situation.
The Boulder PD received information concerning a hostage situation at 11:29 PM and upon arriving, police officers were able to rescue two people who appear to have been hostages.
While rescuing these two people, an officer fired his gun. However, no one was injured.
As of now, the gunman is still barricaded inside a house as police attempt to talk him into surrender.
There has been no official confirmation on the initial reports that the house is booby-trapped with explosives.
