The Advisor to the head of the DPR, Igor Kimakovsky has claimed that Russian forces have achieved fire control of all main roads leading to Bakhmut.
Igor Kimakovsky also asserted that Ukrainian forces are now avoiding roads in the area by taking their vehicles across fields.
Eager for advancement, Russian commanders have been throwing everything they have at the Ukrainian city of Bakhmut.
However, the troop lines around Bakhmut have been fairly consistent since the Kremlin made the capture of the city one of its main objectives.
But in recent days, there have been reports of advancements by the Russian forces around Bakhmut.
