At approximately 0344 EST, reports began emerging of an explosion in Dehak, Farah Province, Afghanistan. By 0400 EST, local Taliban officials confirmed that a single male on a motorcycle exploded on a rural road outside of the settlement. By 0444 EST, those officials had confirmed that one person had been injured by the premature explosion by the bomber who was on their way to carry out a larger attack, possibly in Dehak.
