Iran announced the execution of a second prisoner who had been arrested during the ongoing protests.
Footage was aired on state television allegedly showing the executed man stabbing and killing two security officials and running away.
The public execution was carried out by hanging.
According to Iranian Human Rights Activists, at least 488 people have been killed since the protests started back in September.
