Due to the Ukrainian military having old Soviet-era MiG jets, the Pentagon has been looking for ways to upgrade their capabilities without handing over brand-new aircraft.
The solution appears to be smart-bomb kits that use GPS to allow for precision strikes.
These kits can apparently be thrown onto many different weapons systems.
