Today, the body of Akam Omar arrived in Iraqi Kurdistan from Germany.
He was a leading figure in the Kurdistan Commando Forces who was injured back in October of this year.
He was flown to Germany to attempt to save him from wounds he sustained from a bomb that blew up his military convoy while on an anti-ISIS operation in the Sulaimani’s Garmian administration.
