The Shiite militia group “International Resistance Faction” has claimed responsibility for IED attacks targeting two logistical convoys north of Baghdad that were supplying US forces in the country. There were no indications of casualties form the attacks.
The group, which is backed by Iran, has regularly targeted logistical convoys over the past two years, as well as targeting American military installations with rocket fire, such as the Ain al-Assad base.
