TTP Claims Responsibility for Two Attacks Against Pakistani Security Forces

The Tehreek-e-Taliban-e-Pakistan (TTP) has claimed responsibility for two separate attacks against Pakistani security forces on Tuesday, according to the group’s official media outlet Umar Media.

The first attack targeted paramilitary forces of the Frontier Corps (FC) in South Waziristan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The TTP claimed that two FC paramilitaries were killed and an unspecified amount were injured.

The second attack was against a Pakistani police patrol in Kohat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The TTP claimed that two officers named Qasim and Ayaz were killed, which was later confirmed in Pakistani media.
