According to French media, homemade Triacetone Triperoxide (TATP) explosives were recovered from his residence. So far, there is no indication of potential targets and whether or not the suspect acted solely alone.
French Minister of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin, commented on the case, calling it a “very serious situation” and that “the terrorist threat remains high in our country.” There has been little additional information provided by French authorities as of now, however, more information should become available within the coming days.
