Russian MoD Confirms Military Helicopter Crash in Crimea, 2 Dead

Russia’s Ministry of Defense has confirmed that a Mi-28 military helicopter taking part in a training flight over Crimea crashed near the village of Svitle, killing both pilots.

The ministry stated that the preliminary cause of the crash was a mechanical failure and that the helicopter was not armed. There are no reports of damage or casualties on the ground.
