Explosion Strikes North Mitrovica: Police Station Targeted, No Injuries Reported

Police in North Mitrovica have confirmed an explosion occurred around midnight and it was a targeted attack on the local Police Station.

There were no reported injuries.

The explosion, which took place in North Mitrovica, refers to the northern part of the city known as Mitrovica, located in the disputed region of Kosovo.

Mitrovica is divided into two separate municipalities, with the southern part falling under the administration of the Republic of Kosovo, while the northern part is predominantly inhabited by ethnic Serbs and is under the control of the Kosovo Serb-majority Association of Serbian Municipalities.
