At 2100 EST on July 21st, 2023, the 1st Armored Division announced that one of their soldiers had been killed and five had been injured in a non-combat related vehicle accident in the Fort Bliss training area in Texas. The incident reportedly occurred around 0900 EST on July 21st, 2023 and involved a tactical vehicle.
The identity of the soldiers will be released shortly.
