What appears to be the first open-source image of U.S. cluster munitions has surfaced in Ukraine. According to the Telegram Page OperativnoZSU, a pro-Ukrainian page:
”Somewhere on the fronts in Ukraine, 155-mm cluster shells M864 with an increased range of up to 29 km.
Each M864 round contains 72 M42/M46 submunitions, which are dispersed after the main charge explodes.
M42/M46 submunitions are anti-tank and anti-engineering ammunition. They can have several different options, including anti-tank arrows and high-explosive charges.
There are almost no dead Russians, there will be even more.”
