Major Police Response at US Capitol Building Following 911 Call of Active Shooter

There has been a massive police response to the United States Capitol Building in Washington, D.C., following what authorities say was a ” a concerning 911 call” of a “possible active shooter” at the Senate Office Buildings.

So far there has been no indications of gunfire and police have warned people in the area to shelter in place as they investigate. According to Fox reporter Adam Sabes, citing DC Fire and EMS, the incident appears to stem from a “mental health situation” in the Senate Office Building.
