Veteran Groups Clash with Armenian Police, Yerevan

Armenian Veteran groups of the 44-Day war, or the Second Karabakh War, have briefly clashed with Armenian police as they staged a protest in front of the Armenian parliament building. The veterans demanded the government change their approach toward Artsakh, and ensure that humanitarian aid can flow into Artsakh and that the ongoing blockade be cleared. They stated if the government does not work to end the blockade that they will use their own means to open it.

Their protest and threats come as the situation in Artsakh grows continually worse. Humanitarian aid rarely ever enters the region, which is resulting in rapidly rising malnutrition, and disease/illness fatalities.
