The 2nd Marine Air Wing has confirmed that one of its pilots was killed in a crash onboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. The aircraft was part of Marine All-Weather Fighter Attack Squadron 224 which is based out of Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort with Marine Air Group 31. The announcement reads below:
