At approximately 0948 EST, initial reports indicated a large fire at a commercial structure in Erbil, Iraq. Pro-militia sources reported the fire, but did not disclose what started the incident. By 1130 EST, multiple local sources confirmed that the fire engulfed the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry building and that multiple people had jumped from the roof of the building to escape the flames.

By 1200 EST local emergency services confirmed the fire had been extinguished, it is currently unclear how many casualties resulted from the fire.
