80% of Artsakh’s Population Transferred to Armenia, Government Announces Emergency Aid

As of 6PM local time on September 29th 80% of Artsakh’s 120,000 population, 97,735 people, have made their way through the Lachin corridor into Armenia, leaving Artsakh.

This comes one day after Armenia’s government announced emergency aid for all refugees coming from Artsakh.

PM Pashinyan said the government “Will provide a one-time 100,000 drams (255$) from the state budget to every one of our forcibly displaced brothers and sisters from Nagorno-Karabakh, regardless of age, for urgent needs”.
