U.S. Secretary of State Blinken has just told press in Tel Aviv that the American death toll has risen from 22 to 25 after this weekend’s attacks by Hamas against Israeli civilian populations.

In his remarks, which are ongoing, he also told press that Hamas’ gruesome attacks are liken to ISIS, but that the United States and other partners are working to contain the fighting.
He also said that the U.S. Will always “be by your side”, referring to Israel, while threading the needle that Palestinians have “legitimate aspirations” unlinked to Hamas.
