The Islamic Resistance of Iraq, an Iran-backed Shia Muslim militia group, released a statement in which the group claimed to have targeted four US military bases on Tuesday.
The group released the statement on their personal Telegram channel, where they stated they utilized both drones and rockets to make their attacks. The group further claimed their attacks “hit their targets directly,” a claim that has been regularly refuted by the United States Central Command.
The bases targeted include Erbil Airport, which is located in northern Iraq; “Harir,” which is also in northern Iraq; the Koniko Gasfields in northern Syria, near Deir Ezzor; and an oilfield referred to as the “Green Village” in Syria.

The Statement Regarding Harir:

The Statement Regarding Koniko:
… The Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeted the American occupation base in the Koniko gas field in the northern countryside of Deir ez-Zor with a missile salvo, hitting its targets directly. Victory is only from God. Indeed, God is Mighty, All-Wise.
The Statement Regarding Green Village:
… The Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeted the American occupation base in the Green Village deep in Syria in a third operation on American bases today, with drones that directly hit their targets. Victory is only from God. Indeed, God is Mighty, All-Wise.
