The Israeli cabinet today held a vote in which they approved a hostage deal with Hamas, in exchange for a 4-5 day pause in fighting.
Approximately 50 hostages taken in Hamas’ October 7th attack are to be released. According to CNN sources, Israel is to release 3 Palestinian prisoners for each 1 hostage released by Hamas.
The finer details of the hostage deal have yet to be released, however they are expected to be made public soon.
