Commander of the IRGC Navy, Commodore Alireza Tangsir, has claimed that Iranian drones “interfered” with American carrier operation in the Persian Gulf yesterday.
Tangsir claimed that a helicopter launch from the carrier was aborted after the IRGC warned that their drones were overhead.
Currently, the American carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower and its strike group are located in the Gulf.
So far, there has been no comment from CENTCOM or the Pentagon.
