As this publication reported earlier today the Ukrainian military’s commander-in-chief has publicly decried President Zelensky’s sacking of military commissars last August. President Zelensky’s office has now announced that a press conference is to be held at 1900 local time. The announcement reads below:
“On Tuesday, December 19, the final press conference of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi will be held.
Accreditation of mass media representatives is carried out until 16:00 on December 18 at link.
1 correspondent, 1 operator, 1 photographer can be accredited from one mass media.
The time and place of the event will be notified in the accreditation confirmation letter.”
The reason for the press conference has not been disclosed. However, it is entirely possible Zelensky will sack the commander-in-chief. Check back for updates.
