Humzah Mashkoor, 18, of Westminster, Colorado, was arrested by federal authorities on Monday at the Denver International Airport, where he allegedly planned to travel to Afghanistan or Syria to join the Islamic State.
Mashkoor appeared in court today and was charged with attempting to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization.
