According to South Korean media outlet Yonhap, an urgent evacuation order has been issued to the island of Yeonpyeong due to “a situation related to the provocation of North Korea,” according to Yonhap.
The island sits just 12km south of North Korea and as previously targeted by DPRK artillery in 2010.
