A reported IED bombing on a police vehicle in the northern district of Bajur of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan on Monday morning local time has left five police officers/personnel dead and 22 others, unspecified if civilian or police, injured. Rescue 1122 reports that additional casualties may emerge due to severity of injuries.
A local spokesperson, according to Express Pakistan, said that the police vehicle was on its way to polio duty during the reported attack.
