United States Central Command has confirmed that the Houthis launched an Anti-Ship Cruise Missile (ASCM) at the USS Laboon. U.S. aircraft were able to shoot down the missile near the coast of Yemen; no one on board was injured, nor was there any material damage. This is the first reported incident of an ASCM being fired at a United States Navy ship since Prosperity Guardian began. This type of advanced weapon was almost certainly supplied by Iran.
