Islamic Resistance in Iraq Claims Three Attacks on US and Israeli Military Bases

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq, an organization with ties to Iranian-backed Shia militants, released a statement in which the group claimed to have targeted an Israeli base in Golan Heights alongside two American military bases in Syria on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

The Statement Regarding Golan Heights:

“In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, Permission has been given to those who fight because they have been wronged, and indeed, God has the power to grant them victory. In continuation of our approach to resisting the occupation, in support of our people in Gaza, and in response to the massacres committed by the usurping entity against Palestinian civilians, including children, women, and the elderly, the Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq yesterday, Saturday, attacked a military target in the occupied Golan with drones. The Islamic Resistance confirms its continued destruction of enemy strongholds. And victory is only from God. Indeed, God is Mighty, All-Wise.”

The Statement Regarding Syria:

“In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful permission has been given to those who fight because they have been wronged, and indeed, God has power to grant them victory. In continuation of our approach to resisting the American occupation forces in Iraq and the region, and in response to the Zionist entity’s massacres against our people in Gaza, the Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq attacked, with drones, two American occupation bases in the Al-Omar and Al-Shaddadi fields deep in Syria and confirmed that the Islamic resistance continues to destroy enemy strongholds. And victory is only from God. Indeed, God is Mighty, All-Wise.”
